Adult Mental Health First Aid Training
Delivered over 4 sessions using Zoom, you can become a certified Mental Health First Aider with this Online course produced by MHFA England. You’ll learn valuable skills that can help someone in a mental health crisis, and how to promote good mental health. Open to anyone aged 16+

Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training
Delivered over Zoom in a single 4-hour session, this course is available to anyone who has previously completed an Adult MHFA, MHFA Champion, or Armed Forces MHFA course. Upon successful completion, your qualification will be valid for another 3 years.

Health & Wellbeing Essentials

Workshops
Our workshops run on a Wednesday, starting at 9am and finishing at around 1pm (with lunch provided),
and an opportunity to network with other delegates over lunch.
To keep the learning experience friendly and informal, group sizes have been capped at 25 people,
comprising smaller groups – eg 5 tables of 5.
Risk Assessment Workshop
If you’ve never done a risk assessment before or not had any formal training, don’t worry, we’ve created this workshop with you in mind!
There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and learn from others with our easy to follow, step-by-step delivery, and supporting Risk Assessment Workbook.
The price also includes a 30-minute review of your final version when booked within 1 month of completing the workshop (valued at £180).

Stress Risk Assessment Workshop
You need a Stress Risk Assessment for your workplace – it’s a legal requirement.
But don’t worry if you have no idea what needs to be in it, or what it’s supposed to look like.
Through interactive group and individual learning opportunities, a supporting Workbook, templates, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions, by the end of this Workshop you will have the confidence to produce your very own Stress Risk Assessment.

Mental Health Awareness Workshop
Learn the definitions of mental health, and discover the signs & symptoms associated with specific mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis on this friendly, yet informative course.
We’ll identify risk and protective factors that relate to mental health, introduce and use the concept of the stress container and discuss ways in which you can proactively strengthen and improve your own mental health and wellbeing, through self-care.

Understanding Self Harm Workshop
Produced and delivered in Partnership with BattleScars (a Yorkshire-based survivor-led, survivor-run charity) the aim of this Workshop is to increase your understanding and awareness of self-harm, encourage those who self-harm to increase their own self-awareness, and provide ways you can help and support someone who engages in self-harm.
Delivered in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment, we tackle a serious issue in way you’ll actually enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions
I struggle with my eyesight, do you have large print materials available?
We do indeed.
The majority of our courses come with large print presentation slides and supporting workbooks, and we’re updating the ones that don’t!
We try to make all of our events as accesible as we can, so if you have any particular barriers to learning or require additional support, please let us know as soon as possible.
Are all your venues wheelchair accessible?
Mostly yes, and not.
We highlight the venues which may be unsuitable during the booking process, and we do try to alternate venues to make sure if it’s inaccessible one month, it will be the following month – subject to availablity at the host premises. We book our venues and rooms a year in advance, and take this into consideration at the time of booking.
Our premises in Wetherby are on the first floor with no lift access, and we occasionally hold Training and Workshops here.
Can you create a training course or workshop for my team?
More than likely, yes.

Yes, we do.
We provide a range of tailor-made SHEQ related training, and Adult Mental Health First Aid training under licence to MHFA (England).
Our training courses can be classroom-based or online – subject to Covid-19 restrictions.
We’ve been asked to create SHEQ Induction materials for new starters and ToolBox Talks.
